    FROM THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:

By now, you have received Pastor George’s letter about stepping down as pastor of Grace Baptist Church.  His last Sunday will be May 20.  We thank Pastor George for his 12 years of service and we will miss him and Amy.  They are so much a part of GBC.  We wish them well as they begin a new chapter in their lives and pray that God will place His healing hand on Pastor George.

The Executive Committee is at work selecting the search committee.  If asked to serve, please prayerfully consider being on this important committee.  We will hold a one-topic church meeting following worship on May 6 for the members of the congregation to approve those who have been asked to serve on the search committee.

The Diaconate has secured Dr. Ken Maahs as our pulpit supply for five Sundays, May 27 through June 24.  During this time we will decide on and hire an interim pastor.

Kathy Gallagher has been in touch with Dr. McJunkin and PBA regarding our search.  Updates will be in Sunday bulletins and church emails.  If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Gallagher at 215-628-9066 or gallagher837@comcast.net.
